As it is known, October is noted as, “Vision and Safe Driving Awareness Month”. Because of this reason we would like to contribute in an effort to spread awareness and make the roads a safer place for everyone using them.
According to actual police statistics, in the year 2017 there have been 51 fatal car accidents, from which 54 people lost their lives and every day passing, this numbers is dangerously growing larger.
Within the framework of our corporate social responsibility program, we inform you that from 11/10/2018 to 11/11/2018 we will be offering FREE eye tests for everyone visiting our shops in Nicosia, Larnaca or Limassol.
Also, through social media and mass media, we are going to be launching our campaign, “See life through a different perspective!”
Our aim is to spread awareness and inform as many people as we can about how important it is to check our vision and if everyone dedicated some time in combination with appropriate eyeglasses, the prevention of car accidents is decreasing significantly.
During our efforts, we would like to thank publicly the Cyprus Police, the Cypriot Club for Bikers Rights and KMeatersCycling team that from the very start supported our idea and are willing to spread the message that we should “See life through a different perspective”!!!
Let’s hope, that this effort (and every other effort on the matter) will be a positive step towards decreasing and ultimately the extinction of fatalities coming from bad vision and dangerous driving.
