Why choose colored lenses

• As we have repeatedly emphasized, the use of sunglasses is the first measure of protection. Their lenses can absorb the harmful rays of the sun without altering the visual perception and colors. 🌅
• But why would we want to choose colored lenses for our glasses?

 

1. Gray lenses reduce the intensity of light, without much distortion of colors and contrast.
2. Καφέ Brown lenses are recommended for vision with higher contrasts, as they absorb enough “blue light” and are suitable under increased brightness.
3. The yellowish lenses are ideal so that you can distinguish the details more easily. These lenses enhance the contrast, but are unsuitable for driving with a lot of sun.
